Rebekah and Joel Schneider-Farris are a sister-brother ice dance figure skating team. They skate and train six
days a week.
They are the 2009 U.S. Juvenile Dance Silver Medalists and the 2010 Midwestern Intermediate
Dance Pewter Medalists.

Joel and Rebekah's mother, Jo Ann Schneider Farris, was a competitive figure skater. She has passed her love of figure skating onto her children. Joel and Rebekah's
goal is to be the best they can be at a very difficult sport.

What's New?
In 2007, Rebekah and Joel trained towards competing in the 2008 Junior National Figure Skating Championships in both
Ice Dancing and Pair Skating. They made the finals in ice dancing and the entire experience at Junior Nationals
was great fun!
During the summers, they competed in the 2007 and 2008 Lake Placid Ice Dancing
Championships. In 2008, they also competed in the INDY Challenge for Pairs.
In 2009, Rebekah broke her foot, and the children were off the ice for a few months, but they still won the pewter
medal at the 2010 Midwestern Figure Skating Championships and placed 8th at the 2010 U.S. Junior National Figrue Skating Championships!
